Yeah I know, this journal is a few days late after Anime Expo, but I started classes again literally the day after the last day of Anime Expo. So let me recap on how things went:
First day: I was totally lost. I was trying to meet up with my sister, but never got to so I did the best thing I could. I wandered around aimlessly, figured out where what was where, and generally bumped into a few people and had a good time. First thing I absolutely HAD to do though, was find the newest volume of Incubus by , which I did and got it signed to boot Seriously, if you're one of those yaoi fans that are picky as Hell and don't like all the yaoi manga out there that all looks the same, I highly recommend her work. I also went in my steampunk outfit the first day too, but unfortunately without a camera on that day I have no pictures >_<; I'll take pics of my steampunk outfit later though, might wear it again next year since it won't likely be a hassle walking around in it, with plans for a table and hotel room this time around. After getting lost, I found a friend of mine from school and spent the remaining evening of the con with her and her friend Yen (yes that's her name), Yen being a crazy yaoi fan and reminding me very much like my little sister by making death threats against me and giving me the new name Samantha XD Ahh, I adored her company, she made things fun. Anyways, I went with them to a Battle of the Bands, which was totally awesome. One of the best bands up had the drummer toss out his drumsticks, the girls next to me caught it but they didn't want it O_o So they gave it to meeee After all that stuff, we went to Yen's place and I waited until my dad came to pick me up.
Second day: I wore my generic anime angel costume this day. I somehow managed to bump into my twin sister the VERY second I walked into the door of the convention center! It was cool, I sat and hung out with her and her friends for a bit, we took photos (I remembered the camera this time) and wandered around mostly, and checked out the dealer's room.
In all honesty, the rest of the con kind of blurred together XD Although I do remember, I didn't get to find the slumber party, I met Kel Mitchel, I played 'Mafia' with some random people I never met but still had a lot of fun, passed out somewhere in the lobby and had a security guard wake me up, and got my badge signed by the voice over actress for Rita Repulsa. Also, I managed with my sister's help to find another Obitsu doll which I'm in the process of customizing. The con over all was amazing, I should be posting up some photos in a bit, so look forward to those
